I am a photographer/ poet from Dumfries in South West Scotland. I concentrate on minimalist images and prefer using an iPhone these days. As far as my writing is concerned, I usually write short poems (some in Scots dialect), hence my interest in haiku and related forms.View all of photos, poetry and haiku by Derek Ross's posts.
These are so colorful!! And now I know what to do with the crusty old paint brushes I’ve ruined. Make ’em into art! I’m wondering whether the figure of the woman with the guitar is a mannequin or a living statue.

Hi Liz. Aye it is a colourful and interesting place right enough. I can assure you that the figure is a mannequin, doesn’t look too happy about it either! Amazing the art folks can produce from everyday objects.
