Rock Face
I’m face to face with forever,
just there, etched in that rock face,
the hard truth, the fold and flow,
the layers, the colour, the glint.
More time than I can imagine,
stretches from earth to sky,
behind me, the sun sinks lower,
casting my shadow on millennia.
Derek Ross
I love this, Derek! In a bit of synchronicity, I wrote a poem about a rock face just yesterday. (Two of them, in fact.)

Jings that’s a bit scary! Funny isn’t it, separated by an ocean but on the same wavelength sometimes! Would like to read your poems tho.
